Our mission is to partner with families as a nurturing, loving Biblical community and provide child-relevant opportunities that facilitate evangelism, create a passion for loving God through worship, for loving people through small groups, and serving others in love.
Our vision is to provide a loving and safe environment where children will have the best hour of their week. A ministry that provides opportunities for God to change children’s hearts so they can think and act like Jesus and become spiritual champions. We also want to provide parents help and encouragement to teach scriptural truths, discipline children in biblical ways, and equip children to think and act like Jesus.
- Heartland should be the best hour in every kid’s week. - Learning should be fun - Bible lessons should be age appropriate. - Children should be safe physically, emotionally, and spiritually. - Parents should be assisted in building their children into spiritual champions. - Our Children’s workers should love children and desire to help them become learners and imitators of Jesus Christ. - Children should learn to value God’s truth and obey it. - Children should experience heart change as they grow to accept Jesus Christ as Savior be like Him.
- Provide opportunities for children to establish a personal, loving relationship with Jesus Christ. John 1:12 - Model to children and their families God’s unconditional love and acceptance. John 13:34-35 - Motivate children to share their love and faith with others. Matthew 28:19-20 - Develop in children a hunger for the Scriptures so they will apply its truth to their daily lives. 2 Timothy 2:15 - Lead children to worship and celebrate God. Psalm 100:1 - Provide opportunities for children to love and serve others. John 13:14-15 - Promote God’s design for healthy family relationships. Joshua 24:15 - Recruit, train, equip and encourage those who minister to our children. Luke 10:2 - Use age-appropriate, creative, fun methods in all activities with children. 1 Timothy 4:12 - Assist parents by teaching children basic knowledge about the Christian life Deut 6:6-9
